  • Personal identifiable information (such as name).
  • Contact information (such as telephone number, address, email).
  • Financial details bank and or Credit / Debit card details (including card number, cardholder name, expiry date).
  • Special requirements such as those relating to any disability or medical condition which may affect your stay or additional services.

You are responsible for ensuring that other members of your party are aware of the content of this Policy and consent to your acting on their behalf in all your dealings with us.

Some of the information we collect may be considered “sensitive personal data” under the Data Protection Act 1998. We collect it to cater to your needs or act in your interest, and we are only prepared to accept sensitive personal data from you on the condition that we have your positive consent. We will seek this consent when necessary. We will also process your personal data to allow us to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, including the prevention, detection or investigation of financial crime.

 

2. Collecting your information.

We will only collect personal information from you by specifically asking for it:
- When you make a booking enquiry / booking or service from or through us
- When you subscribe to our newsletter
- When you speak to us 
- When we use cookies (Please refer to our Cookies Policy)

 

3. What we do with your information.

    1. We will use your name, address, mobile number and credit card details to complete your booking with us.
    2. We will also use your email and mobile details to manage your arrangements, send you notifications and communicate with you generally.
    3. For the purpose of completing your booking, we may have to disclose some of your information to the providers of the services making up your arrangements (who could be located outside the UK/EEA). We may also have to disclose some information to third parties in relation to customer services, credit card processing, or other services.
    4. Credit/debit card payments are processed via our merchant provider on their secure platform and include the card type, date and time, amount, card expiry date, billing postcode, your address and other related information. This information is required and necessary for the performance of our contract with you. We do not have sight of the complete card number or CVV code at any time, but this will be held securely by our merchant provider who are audited and certified as a PCI Service Provider Level 1.
    5. We may need to disclose your information where required by law, where such a request is made by a legal authority.
    6. We may from time to time contact you with information about special offers, brochures, new products, forthcoming events or competitions. If you do not wish to receive such information, you may ask contact us in writing at info@la-cerqua.com not to receive it.
    7. We do not process your data outside of the UK / EU and we won't share your information for marketing purposes with other companies.
    8. In order to deliver our services to you effectively we may send your details to third parties such as those that we engage for professional compliance, accountancy or legal services as well as product and platform providers that we use to arrange booking and reservation services.
    9. Where third parties are involved in processing your data we understand they are subject to a duty of confidence in processing your data and that they'll only act in accordance with our written instructions. We will assume that all third-parties have adequate data protection measures in place that align with the requirements of the data protection regulation.
    10. To fulfill our obligations in respect of prevention of money-laundering and other financial crime we may send your details to third party agencies for identity verification purposes.

We have taken all reasonable steps to have appropriate security measures in place to protect your information. Outside the European Economic Area, controls on data protection may not be as wide as the legal requirements in this country.

The transmission of information via the internet is never completely secure. We exclude our liability for personal data lost in transmission to the website.

 

4. Your rights in respect of your personal data.

In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, you may ask us in writing for a copy of the information we hold about you and to correct any inaccuracies in your information. We aim to respond to you within 21 days from the date of request.

You can also choose not to provide us with some of the information we request, however as a result we may not be able to complete your arrangements.

Our website contains links to other websites. This privacy policy only applies to this website so when you link to other websites you should read their own privacy policies.

 

6. Our retention policy.

We will only keep your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was first gained. Personal Data will be retained for the purposes detailed in this privacy policy and where we have a legal basis for doing so.

We will review the personal data we hold in line with our retention policy, to check for accuracy and relevancy and to ensure that we continue to have a legal basis for processing. If the personal data is no longer necessary, or where we no longer have the legal basis for processing we will delete or fully anonymise the data we hold about you, in line with our Data Protection Policy. If your data becomes inaccurate, we will update it accordingly.

We keep our privacy policy under regular review and we'll place any updates on our website (and/or) inform you of any changes when they occur.
