At La Cerqua we have two very different cooking facilities, indoors a modern kitchen and in the garden an ofyr log bbq system.
Modern Kitchen Facilities
For those who like cooking you'll find a fully equipped modern kitchen with ample prep area and storage. Located off the main living space, but still close enough for the chefs amongst you not to feel left out from the gathering. Loose yourself in the view whilst washing up in front of the kitchen window.
The kitchen's white goods include; oven, microwave/grill, warming draw, 12 place dishwasher, freezer, 5 ring gas hob, high volume extractor fan, fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle and drinks cooler. Also provided is a wide selection of stainless steel pots and pans, cooking trays, serving dishes, crockery, glassware, cutlery & utensils.
Dine Indoors
The dining area has a modern extending ceramic topped dining table and seats up to 10 people. Comfortable bucket style seats are perfect for those long leisurely meals where good conversation, food and wine flow.
Outdoor dining
In the garden near to the house is an alfresco dining area, topped with a shaded pergola to protect against the sun during long leisurely lunches. The large glass topped table accommodates up to 10 people and the high backed rattan seats make for a really comfortable experience. At night the area is lit making it an ideal place to eat long after the sun has gone down.
Cooking outdoors on an OFYR log bbq is truly a social event with everyone wanting to join in. This is BBQ cooking elevated to the next level, allowing you to cook food in so many different ways and the system even has its own pizza oven. For those who are unfamiliar with this style of cooking we can arrange to get you up and running for your first cooking session.
During the hot summer months it is particularly important to take care as surrounding areas can become tinder dry and there is a real risk of stray sparks starting a fire.
